Let’s talk a little about the veil. If you are trying to decide whether or not to get a veil, as photographers, we always encourage a long cathedral veil. This will give us more photo options. You will have to decide if you want a veil with beads or lace on them, making it heavier to carry and the veil flying effect cannot be done as it will fall straight down, instead of the flowy veil effect falling down like you will see on the following photos.
If you are trying to decide based on budgets on faux or real flowers, we recommend doing a mix of both, where you invest in your bouquet with real beautiful flowers which can then be used to decorate the sweetheart table.
Heels are an essential part of the wedding, not only because you want them to be beautiful and create a statement, but also to feel comfortable and know you are looking your best from head to toe! They are so crucial when photographing all your wedding details if you are a shoe lover and you will love remembering these details years from now when looking back at your photo album.
Wedding cake, tiers and toppers. We have seen beautiful cakes with just one tier on a tall base and make a dramatic delicious topper like apple cider donuts. This is mostly common if you have other desserts and sweets to be served in mind. If you are looking for standard beautiful wedding cake, we often see the 3-tier wedding cake with flowers that match the colors of the wedding on a low base. For more extravagant and over-the-top wedding cakes, we encourage 4+ tiers with each tier long. Here’s a secret we see over and over, not all the tiers are real! Meaning that even if you have a small wedding, you can still have a beautiful 4-tier wedding cake! Last but not least, if your venue does not allow for pets to partake during your wedding, a cool way to integrate them is to have a small replica of that pet, as you will see on the below example.
